DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a lovely evening at the beautiful Northampton Country Club while bidding on some of the region’s most unique items. The sounds of pianist Bob Riday will entertain you while you peruse the auction floor and enjoy a cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Please join the Executive Director, Elissa Garofalo, the D&L Board of Directors, the D&L Dinner Auction Committee and staff of the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor to find out more about the organization that is preserving the nationally significant, shared history of Luzerne, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton, and Bucks Counties. The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor and its affiliate the National Canal Museum preserve the historic transportation route that once carried coal from the mines in Wilkes-Barre to markets in Bristol and Philadelphia. Today, the D&L Trail follows this pathway from Wilkes-Barre to Bristol. Support the organization that connects you to 165 miles of nature, culture, community, recreation and our industrial heritage.
