Do you share our vision of a 750-mile circuit of bicycle and pedestrian trails connecting the Greater Philadelphia region?

Join the Circuit Commitment Campaign!

The Circuit Commitment Campaign's goal is to secure $10 million for trail planning, design and construction. We are asking County Commissioners & Freeholders from the nine regional counties who sit on the Board of the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission to approve allocating this $10 million to the Region Trail Fund to keep building out The Circuit.

You can help by taking the following four actions to convince County Commissioners & Freeholders to make a $10 million commitment to The Circuit:

1) Sign the Connect The Circuit petition.

I support:

  • Funding trails in our region to make The Circuit the most comprehensive metropolitan trail system in the United States.

  • Biking and walking trails as an important and valuable method of transportation which deserves regional transportation funding.

  • The chance to bike or walk on trails all day long, whether I'm going north, south, east or west.

2) Ask a local business or employer to send a letter of support to your County Commissioners.  Or ask your township to pass a resolution.  (Please of any letter or resolution that you successfully get.)

3) Help us get 4,500 postcards of support signed, which we will deliver to County Commissioner & Freeholders

if you want more postcards to distribute.

4) Subscribe to the Crossing Paths Blog to be alerted when trails need public support and join the Biking the Suburbs facebook group to update the rest of us on your campaign activities.
