I'm surprised that no one is using Strava's data. Granted it is limited to mostly exercise oriented cyclists with relatively high income but it has a much deeper dataset. http://labs.strava.com/heatmap/#14/-75.18855/39.95429/blue/bike You can license the data which can be queried by time of day, days of week, time of year, etc. http://metro.strava.com

Please, let's not let the last part of a viable transit corridor go to waste. Remember that Newtown Borough and Bucks County was always supportive of a rail restoration. A trails-with-rails plan, Newtown to Bethayres, is within the realm of possibility - SEPTA studied such a plan years ago.
